From 1997 through 2000, the Duke Leadership in an Aging Society Program hosted the Senior Leadership Initiative for older North Carolinians. Beginning in 2001, the Senior Leadership Initiative is being coordinated by the UNC Institute on Aging, directed by Victor Marshall, Ph.D. The two programs will continue a close collaborative relationship.
