Awards Section
The Leadership in an Aging Society Program bestows three types of
awards annually: Gabel Family Endowment
Internships, the Chut Internship
and Leadership in Aging Awards.
The Gabel Internships go to students who exemplify strong commitments
to better care for the frail older adults, particularly, Alzheimer's
patients. The Chut Internship goes to a student with outstanding
potential to lead in the study of aging and human development. The
Leadership in Aging Awards go to individuals or organizations whose
accomplishments in the field of aging are largely unsung.
Julie Linton (with Frank and Louise Chut) is named first Chut Intern.
